Version 1.2 · Last updated: 1/29/2026

This accessibility statement applies to Praxis, operated by Augmented Healthcare Ltd.

This application is run by Augmented Healthcare Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this application. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser settings
  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the application using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the application using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the application using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We have also made the text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this application is

We know some parts of this application are not fully accessible:

  • live audio content during consultations does not have real-time captions
  • real-time captions are not available during voice consultations (exempt content - transcripts provided afterwards)

Technical information about this application's accessibility

Augmented Healthcare Ltd is committed to making its application accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status

This application is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some interactive elements (buttons, navigation links and the mobile menu button) do not have a sufficiently visible focus indicator when navigated to using a keyboard. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible). We plan to fix this in a future update.
  • Some form select elements do not programmatically indicate when a field is required. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). We plan to fix this in a future update.

Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Live audio and video: The voice consultation feature involves live audio interaction with an AI simulated patient. Live audio is exempt from the accessibility regulations. However, we provide full transcripts of all consultations after they are completed.

Disproportionate burden

We are not currently claiming that any accessibility issues would be a disproportionate burden to fix.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We are committed to improving the accessibility of Praxis. We are taking the following actions:

  • conducting regular accessibility audits
  • including accessibility requirements in our development process
  • providing full transcripts of all voice consultations
  • exploring text-based alternatives to voice consultations for users who cannot use audio features
  • training our team on accessibility best practices
