- Voice-based consultations with real-time speech recognition and synthesis
- Automated performance Audits providing educational feedback on your consultations
- Session transcripts and history for review and reflection
- Educational content and resources related to clinical communication
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
5. Important AI Disclaimer
Please understand the following about our AI-powered features:
- Simulated Patients are AI systems, not real patients. They are designed to provide realistic training scenarios but may not behave exactly as a real patient would.
- Audits are educational feedback, not clinical assessments. The AI-generated feedback is intended to support learning and should not be treated as a formal evaluation of clinical competence.
- Praxis is not a substitute for supervised clinical training. This Service supplements, but does not replace, real-world clinical experience under qualified supervision.
- AI systems may make mistakes. Simulated Patients may occasionally provide unrealistic responses, and Audits may contain inaccuracies. Use your professional judgement.
- Do not use Praxis for real patient care. This is an educational tool only. Never apply information from Praxis directly to clinical decision-making without appropriate professional oversight.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Praxis only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or copy the AI models or training data
- Use the Service to develop competing products or services
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human medical advice
- Upload or input any real patient data into the Service
- Use abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language during consultations
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
- Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy, available on our website, explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your data.

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
10. Service Levels
For the production Service (post-Beta), we aim to provide:
- 99.5% uptime availability, excluding scheduled maintenance
- Advance notice of scheduled maintenance where reasonably practicable
- Response to support enquiries within 2 business days
These service levels are targets and do not constitute a guarantee. Please see Section 11 for Beta Trial-specific terms.
11. Beta Trial Terms
If you are participating in the Praxis Beta Trial, the following additional terms apply:
Service Provided "As-Is": During the Beta Trial, the Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
No Service Level Guarantees: The service level targets in Section 10 are aspirational during the Beta Trial. We will endeavour to maintain availability but cannot guarantee uptime or response times.
Data Loss Risk: Beta software is subject to significant changes. Your data, including consultation history and transcripts, may be lost, corrupted, or deleted due to system updates, bug fixes, or technical issues. We recommend not relying on beta data for important records.
Feature Changes: Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. The final production version may differ substantially from the beta version.
Known Issues: Beta software may contain bugs, errors, and incomplete features. By participating in the Beta Trial, you accept that you may encounter issues that affect your experience.
Feedback and Reporting: We encourage you to report bugs, provide feedback, and share suggestions. Any feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without compensation or attribution.
Discontinuation: We reserve the right to discontinue the Beta Trial at any time. We will endeavour to provide at least 14 days' notice before ending the beta programme, but this is not guaranteed in exceptional circumstances.
No Entitlement: Participation in the Beta Trial does not entitle you to free access to the production Service or any discounts on future subscriptions, unless explicitly offered.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly set out in these Terms
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

- We accept no liability for clinical decisions made based on information from the Service
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Termination
Your Rights: You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon account closure, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Our Rights: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service and close your account.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
